Celebrate the Small Things-December 13, 2013

It's Friday once again, which means it's time to Celebrate the Small Things with VikLit.

This post is coming a little late today.  My son Jude was sick today, and sick kids throw a wrench into the works as far as plans go.

This week I would like to celebrate the fact that I just announced a blogfest to celebrate my upcoming blogging anniversary.  Click HERE to learn more about the event and to sign up if you should feel inclined to do so.

Today is Friday the 13th, which is cause for celebration in our house.  As I've mentioned in the past, my husband and I met on a Friday the 13th, so it's like our own little sporadic romantic holiday. We're weird that way, but it's fun.

And seriously, how is Christmas less than two weeks away already?  I'm looking forward to that, because nothing makes me happier than seeing my kids on Christmas morning!

What would you like to celebrate?

  1. Hope your son is feeling better soon. Happy Friday the 13th anniversary - you probably don't call it that.

  2. I like Friday the 13th. I was born on the 13th, but I don't think it was a Friday.

  3. See, Friday the Thirteenth isn't unlucky!
Ten days to Christmas and counting...

  4. How cool to have a Friday the 13th anniversary! My husband and I met on Halloween and have a picture that night in 1982. I'm celebrating: 1.) living at the beach in California, 2.) finding out my tooth does not have to be pulled--it's a sinus infection!, and 3.) having my YA horror story, Death House, get accepted for publishing (woo hoo!), as well as having my short story, "Christmas After All" released in an anthology called A Touch of Winter. Happy Holidays!

  5. How lovely to have a random, sporadic celebration like that! :)
