Celebrate the Small Things-July 28, 2017

It's Friday!  Let's Celebrate the Small Things with Lexa Cain!  Tonja Drecker and I are her co-hosts.

I'm making good progress on a couple of short stories, and I'm looking forward to finishing them soon.  I have plans to submit both of them, and that prospect is both exciting and terrifying as always.

The bedroom switch is finished, and the boys love having a bigger room to share.  It seems like it's been a good move for everyone.

Zoe now has teeth!  A tooth on the bottom broke through a couple of days ago, and a second one is making its presence known.  She's been trying to gnaw on everything within reach. And since she army crawls with the best of them, so many things are within reach for her.  She's been giving me a work out this week!

What would you like to celebrate?

  3. Good luck on your stories! I'll be crossing my fingers for you. I'm sure the boys are having a blast with a new bedroom, as long as their sister doesn't get into things...which it sounds like she might be soon.

  4. Good luck with the stories!

Celebrating the small things...umm, I got some encouraging (yet constructive) feedback on a book chapter. I guess I'll cling to that. :P

  7. If you can't find a better home fro your stories, please remember Square Pegs e-zine is open for subs, and offers an e copy of a D.A.Cairns novel as payment for accepted stories.
I know that mixture of excitement and terror when you submit. I've been doing it for quite a while and I still have the same feelings. Good luck.
