Ebay shows them from the 1960's which jives with the color. Can you tell if it was new on the receipt or just resale? I love it, types great & simple to use for us older folks. It's crazy now how that was 20 years ago and how advanced we've become now!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5171670007828382529.post-82247834881870225402012-10-02T18:19:44.473-05:002012-10-02T18:19:44.473-05:00That is a very cool typewriter! I used an electric one once and it was a neat way to write, but I'll stick with my computer. :)

You sound like me - I like going to common places for dates and I have way too many notebooks purchased on a whim. :)Krista McLaughlinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09230770035490273428noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5171670007828382529.post-37754154257820516452012-10-01T22:39:40.530-05:002012-10-01T22:39:40.530-05:00I have a very old portable typewriter still in it&...I have a very old portable typewriter still in it's carrying case. It manual, it works and still has a ribbon. I found it in an antique shop and used to display it in my office at work. Almost everyone who saw it wanted to buy it. It's my favorite!
In high school I learned to type on an electric typewriter but had to change schools and that class was still using the old manual Yolanda Renéehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09085436784133103221noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5171670007828382529.post-7589778188870231242012-10-01T18:34:33.247-05:002012-10-01T18:34:33.247-05:00Really cool! I didn't have to learn to type until I was 16 and by then, I learned on a computer, but this was the norm for learning to type prior to my high school years. I always figured I'd learn on a typewriter. But, you couldn't stop the computer age from roaring like a lion. :) Cathy Keatonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18356112948372149785noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5171670007828382529.post-22295208714332568162012-10-01T17:12:36.463-05:002012-10-01T17:12:36.463-05:00Very cool typewriter. The thing isn't even electric and is probably around 40 years old. She loves typing quotes and stuff and putting them on Tumblr.Cherie Reichhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16663147386014122939noreply@blogger.com
