Celebrate the Small Things-February 28, 2014

For those of you who have stopped by to check out my posting for the WIP The Movie blogfest, you can check that out HERE.

Now, on to the purpose of this particular post.  It's Friday!  That means it's time to Celebrate the Small Things with VikLit.

This Friday is a payday, which is always nice.  Granted, a lot of the money coming in is already dedicated to paying bills, but there's no way around that. Not unless we want the heat and lights to disappear, and believe me, that doesn't sound fun to me at all.

I'm also finding my mood a bit lighter as I realize that February is almost at an end.  Winter is not over by any means, but the end is in sight, and I'm eager for spring.  Or, more specifically, I'm looking forward to the spring weather.

I completed a large grocery shopping trip today, and as far as I can tell, I only forgot one thing.  For me, this is a record.  I even managed to keep my cost down to a reasonable level, and as anyone who does grocery shopping can tell you, this is no easy task.

What would you like to celebrate?

  1. Only forgot one thing? That is good. I won't even tell you how much we spend a month on groceries and there's only two of us.

  2. I had to laugh about the shopping - I ALWAYS forget at least one thing. Glad I'm not alone. Also very glad to see February come to an end.

  3. I'm glad that it's March too, but that's mostly because it's my birthday on the 13th. I always forget things when I'm shopping, even if I've got a list.

  5. Payday is always good. I can't share the enthusiasm for the end of Feb, as for me it marks the end of summer.
