It's the first Wednesday of the month! That means it's also time for another meeting of the Insecure Writer's Support Group. This group was founded by Ninja Captain Alex J. Cavanaugh. Parallels: Felix Was Here is now available! I'm super excited to be a part of this, and I hope everyone who gets a copy enjoys reading it.
I'm just finishing up a story for submission, and I'm nervous about it. Bracing for potential rejection is never fun, but it's all part of the process.
I'll also be entering the revision stage on my latest novella once I'm done with that short story. I'm always insecure about revision, but I think I've been getting better about it over the last year or so. I definitely don't have as much anxiety about it as I used to.
What are you insecure or excited about this month?

ReplyDeleteI think just having a submission at this stage is such a positive move.
I'm taking a break from blogging to write and regroup, a much needed break, even with insecurities beating on the door. It's writing that I want to spend my time on!
Just remember the success you had with Felix and know you can repeat it.

Excited about the release of Parallels, but stressed about prepping my own collection of short stories for Amazon. I can get it done, but then come marketing. I'll have to step outside my comfy little box to do it.
