Celebrate the Small Things-September 19, 2014

It's Friday!  Let's Celebrate the Small Things with VikLit!

I'm a co-host, along with these other wonderful bloggers:

I'm celebrating a return of wonderful weather.  After some gloomy, rainy weather, it's been warm and sunny these last few days.  I know it won't last forever, so I've had the kids outside enjoying it while we can.

The kids are continuing the enjoy the school year.  I can't help but celebrate the fact that both my boys shout "Yay!" when I tell them it's time to go to school.  I hope that enthusiasm lasts.

I haven't done as much writing this week as I might like, but I have done a lot of reading, which is such an enjoyable activity that I can't complain.  I plan to get some writing done this weekend, though.

What would you like to celebrate?

  1. You're so lucky with the weather! We had the most horrific storm here last night, and it's been gloomy all day.

On the plus side, I've had a good week at work! :D

  5. It's wonderful that your boys love school. I'm sure with you as a mother, they'll also love reading - that's a recipe for being ahead of their peers and succeeding in school. Yay for your own reading! I've done a lot of that this summer, too.

  6. Our weather has been opposite of yours. We were having hot, hot weather and now it's cooling down. I'm celebrating finishing the end of my Trilogy and getting the last book out this week. Now I can write a new story and I have some ideas.
Reading is good. We all need to continue to do it. Now I have some time to read.
