For
this year’s A to Z Challenge, I’m writing drabbles based on words I got from a
random word generator. A drabble is a
short piece of fiction of exactly 100 words.
Enjoy!
Hole
I
see you’re stuck in a sinkhole.
Fortunately, I have some tips to help you get yourself out of this mess.
#1:
Don’t panic.
#2:
Don’t waste valuable time yelling at me about telling you not to panic. I get it.
It’s hard not to panic.
#3:
Seriously, stop yelling at me. I’m
trying to help.
#4:
Call for assistance.
#5:
Don’t demand that other people call for assistance on your behalf. You can’t rely on others to be around.
#6:
Okay. That abusive language was
unnecessary. I’m leaving. That’s what I get for trying to do the right
thing.
LOL. Reminds me of a story where the passerby is so busy telling the boy how to swim and not to drown, that the boy drowns anyway... Happy A-to-Z-ing.
ReplyDeleteFun! If you enjoy writing from prompts, come visit. I'm posting one a day for the A to Z.

At first I was hoping for something about Courtney Love's band, but this is pretty awesome.
ReplyDeleteYou know what, now I'm imagining Courtney Love in the hole and it's even better.
