You shake your head. “Thanks for the offer, but I’m afraid if I
tried to dance, I might accidentally injure someone.” Hey, it’s not a lie. You’ve proven that you’re not the most agile
of people.
She sticks out her lower lip in a
pout. “That’s too bad. I have a feeling you might be fun to chill
with.” Then her eyes light up. “Wait a second.”
She scurries out of sight behind a group of
guys doing jello shots. You aren’t
thrilled about waiting, but you don’t want to be rude.
When the girl comes back, she has something
in her hand. A cardboard beer coaster!
“My phone number is on the back,” she says
brightly. “Call me sometime and we can
hang out.”
