Who Are You?

May I ask you something about yourself?

From RGB Stock user xymonau
It's time once again to become nosy and devise an inquiry for my readers.  This time I actually went into this knowing what I want to ask, which is an accomplishment in and of itself.  I plot books, but blog entries can be a little more tricky.

Anyway, here is my question.  Well, it's not phrased as a question, but it's still prompting a response nonetheless.

Describe yourself in one sentence.  I'm not going to impose a word limit.  I know that sentences can get long and cumbersome at times.  You can only compound them so many times, no matter how creative you are with punctuation.  Being the writers you are, I trust you to police yourselves on this one.

I am a geeky writer, wife, and mother who doesn't have her head in the clouds because it's out there amongst the stars.

  1. I'll give you my About Me blurb: Thirty-something frazzled mom, wife, writer, and voracious reader living the creative life!

    Fun question!

  2. It is funny that I should stumble across this today. I'm reading one of those "self-help" book and it too suggests an exercise in which you can describe yourself in one sentence. It seems fate is really pushing me to do this so....

"I am an independent, witty, adventure-seeking, intellect that will leave you wanting more!"

    Oh snap!! I did it!!

  3. Aw, geez, I gotta work all up in this blog? OK...here's what's at the forefront of my fragile little mind:

"I'm a sleep-deprived lunatic, self-medicating through her mid-life crises with chocolate and cabernet sauvignon, while freaking out over how she's going to pay for her son's college fees starting next month (next week!!!)."

    Yeah...that's about right. :-)

  4. This is going to be fun...I might have to "borrow" this idea for a future blog.

"I am a grandmother to 25 who lives and travels full-time in a 41' RV along with hubby, pup and 2 Harleys; refusing to wait for my perfect tomorrow so I'm savoring each and every imperfect today."

Yeah, bad grammar but what did you expect? LOL!

    1. What a great idea! Ms. Keltner, may I pretty please rip off - ahem- I mean, *borrow* this "Describe yourself in one sentence" idea for a future blog post? I'd totally give you credit and link to your blog and everything! Of course, I won't, if that's not cool. :-)

  5. I'm seventeen and write books.

It leaves a lot up to the imagination, but since there aren't many teen writers out there, it says more than it seems.

  6. I'm not a great writer at all, but I'll take a whack at this! <----NOTMYSENTENCE. ;)

"With coffee in my left hand and my daughter held by my right, I explore the lessons and mysteries of the extraordinary every day trying to find my life's purpose through art, music, and creativity with plenty of laughter in between."
