Celebrate the Small Things-Week 8

It's time to once again join VikLit and Celebrate the Small Things.  Whether it's big or small, you can celebrate it all!

This week we had some bad luck with money disappearing from our bank account.  It seems like someone got a hold of our account information and helped themselves to some of our money.  The good news though is that we're well on the way to getting all of that sorted out.  It's inconvenient, certainly, but it could have been worse.  No one has taken a vacation to Hawaii from what they managed to take, that's for sure.

I wrote three new poems this week, and I'm pretty pleased with them.

My youngest son Lyle also started pointing out colors this week.  It was so cute when he pointed to his shirt and said "Blue!"  He was so excited!

What do you have to celebrate this week?

  1. Theft from your bank account! Too awful -- and the snowball effect -- it is a horrible 'inconvenience.' Such lovely news about your son -- that's the celebration so dear to the heart!

Temperatures are going up to 60 next week, (sorry, just saw it on the news) Yeah!

Spring is here! Have a happy weekend!

  2. Glad you didn't lose all of your money!

  3. Glad that you are getting the money thing sorted out. Identity theft is happening far too often these days, boo.

Hope you have a good weekend!

  4. Glad that you didn't lose all of your money!!! Identity theft is scary!
Congratulations on your poems, and your son's new ability! Yay for blue shirt moments!

  5. Argh to having money stolen but glad you are sorting it!!!

  6. That kind of bank news sends shivers down my spine. Glad it's getting sorted out.

  7. Oh goodness that must have been a worry. Glad you are managing to get it sorted out. I used to love it when my kids learnt a new word.

  8. Sorry to hear about your money misfortune. You are fortunate that it's been sorted out.
Three new poems? That's exciting news! Congrats!
