It's Friday! Let's Celebrate the Small Things with Lexa Cain! Tonja Drecker and I are her co-hosts.
Happy Halloween everyone! My kids are so excited for trick-or-treating, which we plan on doing both tonight and tomorrow. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and the kids will be able to get enough candy that my husband and I can share some with them! :)
We carved pumpkins on Sunday night. Jude did his by himself for the first time. he cleaned it out, designed the face, and cut it out (with close supervision, of course). The picture below shows all of our pumpkins. Jude's masterpiece is on the bottom.
Editing on my novella Self-Help 101 or: How I Learned to Take Over the World Through Tolerating My Family is going well. The editing process can be a bit mind-numbing, but hopefully it'll all be worth it in the end.
I still need people to help me with the cover reveal and blog tour for my upcoming release. If you're interested in helping me out, please check out this post for all of the relevant details. I'd also like to thank everyone who has volunteered to help me so far.
What would you like to celebrate?
Cool jack-o-lanterns. Happy Halloween.
ReplyDeleteI love the pumpkins! Your family's look great! I always loved to carve pumpkins, but hated that goopy stuff you had to scoop out. Yuck! LOL I don't do cover reveals, but I'll be happy to feature the novella when you release in December. :)
ReplyDeleteThose pumpkins look amazing! I haven't done one this year, but I'm beginning to wish I had!
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween! Those pumpkins look amazing. ^_^
ReplyDeleteLooks like your family has some fantastic carving skills! We're planning on attacking ours this evening but they won't be as lovely. Happy Halloween!

ReplyDeleteDid I sign up? Forgive me if I do it twice...
I'd love to help with your reveal!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween!!!!!
The pumpkins look cute. I hope the weather here cooperates because I want to go to the Zombie Walk. Right now it's nice, but in a few hours, who knows!
ReplyDeleteWe always carved the pumpkins when the kids were little but changed to painting them and now I just sit them out plain. Lazy I guess.
ReplyDeleteJude's looks the scariest!
Happy Halloween!
Awesome pumpkins! I hope you had a great Halloween. :)
