Welcome to the second week of A to Z! Today I have a silly little poem for you. For some reason, today's word just begged for some poetic expression.
Today's word: ERINACEOUS
The word erinaceous means this: of, or resembling a hedgehog.
Once I stumbled across that word, I couldn't resist! Enjoy!
Erinaceous
She walked into the room,
alluring and vivacious.
A drink in hand, she milled about,
and her laugh was contagious.
She drew near, and I froze.
Never been the most loquacious.
I feel silly now that I was flattered
when she called me erinaceous.
HAHAHAHAHA! That's wonderful!

That was so fun! And a new word for me - thanks. I think Erin Aceous would make a good name for an MG crime-solving heroine. Possibly one with spiky hair.
ReplyDeleteFun and neat.
ReplyDeleteThat's great! No man wants to be thought of as a hedgehog.
ReplyDeleteFunny!

ReplyDeleteHee. That was fun. And I learned a new word. Bonus.
ReplyDeleteNew word to me, just like that poor guy. :)
ReplyDeleteERIN ACEOUS was an egregious interloper.
ReplyDeleteErinaceous is a great word! I need to find ways to use it from now on.
